Consider me incredibly hyped for this game.

We are a small community compared to those in larger cities. Yeah it sucks when you're into a game that noone else really cares about. The best you can do is just try to convert people. Since we're getting so many new fighters this year and the spike in attention to the group, it'll be easier to get as many people to try as many new things (not just Tekken) as possible; especially with TST coming up.

Edit: for instance my hobby-horse Hokuto No Ken never picked up despite my best efforts to make it a Sci-Lounge sensation. Part of that may have been that the game wasn't based on a particularily popular IP but it's more likely that the game was just kind of bad.

surprised Hwoarang isn't among the most difficult to use list.  out of all the stance characters, his were the stances I danced around most in, aside from Lei.  With Left Foot Forward, Right Foot Forward, Left and Right Flamingo Stance he is definately not one of the easier characters to learn.

Upon release I was planning on learning Zafita as a secondary, since she's the reigning queen of the bottom tier!

Also, this city needs a beastly Panda player.  Any takers?

Can't wait to try new Feng and Bruce. I never though 5 Bruce was hard -- just really boring to watch.

Bruce has been changed quite a bit.  Just ask Steffan since he tried him at Evo.  Supposedly what makes him hard is his damaging combos are tight on the execution.

So Curtis, since you mentioned Zafina as your secondary, who's gonna be your main?  Bringing back out Anna in full force?  Trying out some more Baek?  Gonna revive Lei now that he's less shitty?

There are too many characters I want to play, in honesty.  Anna likely will be my main, with a stance character as a secondary.  She has a great high/low game, and a huge variety of launchers with easy juggles.  Plus she can have the whole slutty military girl thing going on in T6!  That's always a definite plus.

I've been messing with Baek of late on DR, mainly because imo he was more or less the HARDEST character to play efficiently in TTT.  I've been finding playing him though a little unfulfilling, and may just toss him on the backburner.

Out of all the new characters I want to try Zafina the most, and have always been a closet Lei fan, so I'm definately interested in his new game too, but in the end I could just end up back with my old main from Tekken 3: Xiaoyu.

Who's up for some scrub Tekken DR action set up on the (former?) neckbreaker this thursday?  I'll see if I can get any of my roommates to come, as they've been putting in countless hours this past month (and are still terrible!)
