sweet, thanks for the warm welcome. well im 27, turning 28 in nov and my 2 brothers (25) want in too, they dont play much sf4, but they play every other game  ;D unfortunately, sf4 is pretty much the only game I play, im not a hardcore gamer, i want to be, but just dont have the time. Just like to play for enjoyment, compete a little, meet some good people with the same hobby!

not used to using the arcade stick, but I guess i should learn.

nuff said, will browse the thread PSN/Live ID, and will add you (Jayser) Cynixx, asap my gamertag: tur1zmo

hope to see you guys in the later future.

I'm 27 and don't actually play the game much.  But yeah come on out when you feel like playing.  Like the others have said we always welcome new players and are willing to teach those willing to learn.

Heyo, I'm Bev ;D Met a few of you guys at Ai-kon (lol, yes I know) and at the SFIV tourney at Driven. Total noob, but I've always wanted to sit down and actually learn to play for real, instead of mashing the same moves over and over again.

Looking into getting into KOFXII and BlazBlue, I'm a sucker for the art.

Pro tips on getting good at SFIV!

Step 1: Buy SFIV
Step 2: Buy Joystick
Step 3: Push buttons until opponent dies

It's just that easy!

Good morning everyone.

I'm new here and go by, khmeroldiez (don't ask lol).  I'm usually on PSN playing SFIV but I wouldn't say I'm THAT good.  It feels great to know about this community.

Hi,

I'm relatively new to fighting games, but I really enjoy their competitive nature and depth. I'm looking to get into the community so I can maybe learn some things and have a good time.

I play primarily on PSN (CatalystX) and recently bought a SFIV TE fight stick which I enjoy using quite a bit. The games I have are SFIV, BlazBlue and MvC2. I'm hoping to meet some of you at one of those Friday night fight things at the UofM.

Hey all. Names Ben Kelly and I recently moved to Winnipeg. I've grown up playing fighting games and recently taken a huge interest in them. I'm only 17 but I could probably make it to tournys once in awhile and I'm a pretty decent player.

I only really play SF4, but would love to get into 3rd Strike, I watch All the japan pros and SBO, etc of the matches and love the game. If anyone wants to add me on PSN ID is BloodAngel4444.

HEY CHIP DAMAGE! My name is Chris and I like SFIV. I don't really play competitively at tournaments or anything like that, but I play and I'd like to get into the scene around the university. I'm actually a new U1 student at UofM and yeah, university + SFIV = awesomeness.  ;D

I play Street Fighter IV on Xbox 360. Ryu. My gamertag is chissu. :)

Well, again, HELLO ALL. Glad to hear that there is a community like this where I go to school.

Hey

My name is James, I'm pretty new to fighting games in general, but I have SF4 and an arcade stick. I've made it to one meet up in the science lounge so far, and will hopefully make it to more.

I'm pretty bad at SF4, but I'm always pumped to play, feel free to add me on PSN for some games any time, username: firemanpants.

Yay you finally said something on the forums lol.  Though why under a new account name?  Oh well

Welcome and try to say something in the gatherings thread and I'll make extra effort between my engineering studies to come out and game with you. :)

Hey guys! My name's Paul, kinda late to the SFIV scene but I've been at it for a couple months now. I was lurking at the tourny hosted at the ComicCon today and heard about this site from a guy at EBgames.

My PS3 tag is in my sig and maybe one day I'll be in one of those tourny's ;)
